Overview
Sonatest offers a range of STARC general weld probes in two different lines:
Compression variant
Single crystal 0° compression wave probe with hard face (ceramic) for long life. Very good sensitivity and resolution. For use on smooth and machines surfaces.
Shear wave variant
Angle beam shear wave probe with high perfomance Ø10 mm single crystal in stainless steel housing, offering exceptional sensitivity and high resolution for exact and critical inspections.
