Service and Repair

We understand that if your unit is experiencing a fault or simply requires an annual calibration you need your instrument back and operating smoothly as possible.


We operate a Return Merchandise Authorisation system where each item being returned is issued with a unique number. 

Initially please contact Service and Repair with the model, serial number, specifics regarding the fault (if you have images and videos please attach them to emails for us to record).  We will the send you a copy of your RMA for you to sign and return in your shipment.

If you are returning your PA unit for calibration please identify if you require a full or summary report (Veo3, Veo+ and prisma only).  For all calibration requests we will email a quotation for the fixed price calibration along with your RMA.

When we have received your instrument we will email confirmation and keep you informed of its progress, including quotations for repairs.  Once we receive your purchase order we will complete the repait and return the unit to you as soon as possible.  Invoices are generated on the same day we ship and we will include tracking information.

For Overseas Returns

In order to simplify customs clearance and improve delivery time, please include a copy of the customs invoice indicating the reason for return and also marking: NO COMMERCIAL VALUE, please state on your documents "Repair & Return", with a Low Value for customs purposes.

Lithium Ion Batteries:

Under no circumstances should you send back defective lithium Ion batteries to Sonatest.  It is also very important you DO NOT include any batteries when returning your equipment to us for repair or calibration.
